The Sandlot Bulldogs beat the Angels 8-1 Sunday afternoon in the USSSA Spring Fling 13u AAA title game at Big League Dreams.

The game started slowly but picked up in the top of the third when the Bulldogs scored six runs. Kyle Huls scored first on a walk. Paul Sacco scored on Alex Kern’s single. Both Aaron Reyes and Aaron Makil were able to steal home. The inning got even more exciting when both Jake Burns and Kern scored on Tommy Kuhse’s hit.

The Angels scored a run in the bottom of the fourth when Harrison Attieri scored on Bodey Delmar’s double to deep left.

The Bulldog’s kept their momentum the top of the fifth when Kern and Burns both scored runs, making the score 8-1.

In the bottom of the fifth, Kuhse, Makil and Corey Stuart turned a double play for Sandlot.
