The Muddogs beat the Arizona Wildfire 7-5 Sunday in the USSSA 11uAA Cinco de Mayo Classic championship at Big League Dreams.

Both teams scored runs in the first inning. The Muddogs added three more in the second and never looked back.

The Wildfire made it 6-4 in the third. Both teams scored a run in the fifth.

Going into the 6th, the referee announced that this was the Arizona Wildfire’s last chance to “make some runs,” however they came up short and the game ended in the top of the 6th inning without a successful run.
