ASU pounded Northern Illinois pitching Saturday for 36 runs and swept a baseball double header at Packard Stadium.

Former Brophy star Drew Maggi went 3-for-5 in the opener the Sun Devils beat the Huskies 10-5. In the second game, another Brophy product, Riccio Torrez went 4-for-5 with four runs scored and two RBI as the Devils won 26-1 in seven innings.

In the first game, Zach Wilson went 3-for-5 and drove in three runs for the Sun Devils.

In the second game, Zach McPhee went 4-for-4 with a triple, a homer and five RBI.

Two former McClintock Chargers, Jimmy Patterson and Xorge Carillo, each picked up their first RBI and a Sun Devil Saturday.

Josh Moody, a graduate of Sandra Day O'Connor, pitched two innings of shutout ball to finish the second game.
