Zack MacPhee continued his torrid hitting Saturday as ASU swept a doubleheader from Towson in college baseball at Packard Stadium.

MacPhee —a Sandra Day O’Connor graduate who was named Pac-10 player of the week and two national awards for his work in the opening series — went 2-for-5 in each game and collected his sixth triple of the season as the Sun Devils beat the Tigers 9-1 and 11-6.

ASU, No. 2 in Collegiate Baseball’s rankings, is 6-0. The teams were scheduled to play at 12:30 p.m. Sunday.

The Torrez brothers from Brophy each homered in the doubleheader. Riccio Torrez homered in the first game and Raoul Torrez homered in the second.

Riccio Torrez went 2-for-5 with four RBI in the second game.
