Hotshots-Householder claimed the ASA Summer Breeze 18u 1-2 championship over the weekend thanks to steady team play and a shot of power.
“We preach a team effort and that is what we got this weekend,” said head coach Keith Householder.
The Hotshots received production from every spot in the lineup over the weekend, including three home runs from three separate players: Kayla Bonstrom, Ashley Palmer, and Sammy Nettling.
Palmer knocked her homer Sunday in the Hotshots 1-run victory over Hotshots-Creed.
Additionally, Householder is excited about Nettling’s power potential. The young ballplayer is only 13-years-old.
