4. Prince of the city: Davis’ former ASU teammate Colin Curtis hit a dramatic three-run homer Wednesday in the Yankees' 10-5 win over the Angels. Curtis was called to pinch hit after Brett Gardner was ejected for arguing a strike call that left him with an 0-2 count. Or rather left Curtis with an 0-2 count. Curtis took three pitches for balls. Angels right-hander Scot Shields threw a fast ball, and Curtis ripped it. The Yankee Stadium crowd demanded a curtain call, and teammates shoved an embarrassed Curtis out of the dugout.
