    Senior Andrea Harrison and sophomore Kellie Fox are two of 50 players named to the Watch List for the 2012 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year award, as announced by the Amateur Softball Association (ASA) of America on Wednesday.

  • Bruins Fourth in Pac-12 Poll, Will Play Arizona on FSN on May 4
    The Bruins were selected fourth by the Pac-12 coaches in the league's preseason poll, which was announced on Wednesday. UCLA received 40 points.

  • Bruins 13th and 19th in National Preseason Polls
    The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) and USA Softball preseason rankings were released on Tuesday, as the Bruins came in at 19th and 13th, respectively, in the two polls.

  • Carda, Team USA Win ISF Junior Women's World Championship
    UCLA freshman-to-be Ally Carda hit .500 at the plate with seven runs batted in, and went 2-1 with 23 strikeouts in 13 innings in the circle, as Team USA claimed the ISF Junior Women's World Championship Gold Medal.

  • Freshman Carda Tosses No-Hitter for Team USA
    A no-hitter from UCLA freshman Ally Carda helped the USA Softball Junior Women's National Team to a 5-0 win over China at the 2011 International Softball Federation (ISF) Junior Women's World Championship. With the Friday shutout, the No. 1 seeded Americans improve to 2-0 in pool play.
