The Phoenix Polar Bears cruised to a 6-0 victory over the Junior Coyotes on Friday night in Bantam A SHL play at Chandler Polar Ice.
Troy Lederer and Ryan Cutter each scored two goals in the game.
Penalties stifled the Junior Coyotes all throughout the game, and the Polar Bears took advantage by scoring three power-play goals.
"We played well tonight," said Polar Bears assistant coach Gary Lederer. "We controlled the tempo and moved the puck well."
The Polar Bears struck first when Kyler May scored on a slap shot.
"[The Coyotes] played hard," coach Lederer said. "But it was good to get a nice win before Christmas." |
