Jeremy Tuttle won three throwing events at the Arizona Junior Olympic track and field championships -- and may have set records in two of them.

Tuttle, competing unnattached, won the boys intermediate (16u) shot put, discus and javelin last weekend at Mesa Community College.

His winning mark in the dicus was 49.93 meters. The listed reocrd for USATF Arizona was 46.58 metes Danny Righetti in 1994. The online record list was upadted before the 2009 season.

Tuttle won the javelin throw in 56.90 meters. Travis Colby set the record last year with a 53.04 throw.

In young men's (18u) competition, state 5A-I sprint high school sprint champion Ryan Milus, who tied Cricket Marshall's 31-year-old 100 record of 10.33 seconds, ran an impressive 100 meters, winning in 10.53.
