Arizona athletes took three of the top four spots Friday in the bantam (10u) boys shot put at the Youth Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Ypsilanti, Mich.

Chase Cord of Northwest Xpress won the title with a toss of 8.16 meters. Marcus Naisant of the Arizona Flames was second with a 7.75-meter mark. Sebastion Coleman of the Arizona Flames was fourth with a mark of 7.40 meters.

Trevon Bosley-Young of Northwest Xpress won the youth (14u) boys high jump at 1.70 meters. Timothy Duckworth of the Phoenix Bobcats was third, clearing 1.65 meters.

Dominic DeVictor of the Phoenix Bobcats won the bantam boys javelin throw Thursday with a mark of 29.96 meters.

Other notable performances included:

Makaila Flannigan of the Arizona Cheetahs finished second in the youth (14u) girls long jump (5.33 meters). Erwin Jones of the Phoenix Bobcats was second in the young (18u) men’s javelin (52.11).

Tevin Mayfield of the Arizona Cheetahs finished second (5.56) in the youth boys long jump.

Cadijah Harris of the Arizona Cheetahs finished third (5.29) and Shamon Bailey of Arizona Elite fourth (5.22) in intermediate (16u) girls long jump.

Gaige Funkhouser of the Arizona Flames was sixth in the youth boys javelin (38.61) and fourth in the triple jump (10.79).
