Xavier College Prep’s Jessica Tonn and Sarah Fakler finished 1-2 in Gold Run, and the Gators took the first three places in the Black Run Saturday at the Scottsdale Running Company Cross Country Festival.

Xavier finished first in the team standings by place and by time.

Tonn finished the course  in  17 minutes, 01.15 seconds and Fakler in  17:37.65.

Brianna Perrone won the Black Race in 18:48.05. Mekenna Gaffney was second (18:52.75) and Chrstian Andreen was third (19:20.45).

Ashley Workman of Queen Creek was third (17:44.70) in the Gold Race.

Pinnacle runners placed fourth in both races -- Lacey Kalinen  (18:01.15) in the Gold and  Dana Stull  (19:26.95) --  and took second in the team standings.
