Sereno’98 White beat Flagstaff United ’98 5-0 Sunday in girls U12 State Cup action at Reach 11 East Sports Complex.

Sereno had the kickoff to start the game and had their first shot on goal against Flagstaff just two minutes into the game. Three minutes later, Sereno scored their first goal.

The second Sereno goal was scored four minutes later when Gina Bracamonte fought to dribble through Flagstaff’s defense. Bracamonte was nearly 2 feet from the goal when she tapped the ball past the goalkeeper, making the score 2-0.

Another goal was scored by Sereno 21 minutes into the first half, and they scored another before the end of the half by Courtney Lankford just seconds before the whistle.

In the second half, Sereno score their only goal off a free kick from just outside the 18-yard box. The ball barely skimmed the goalkeeper’s fingers and landed in the net.
