Sereno 94 White made it to the U16 boys final of the Far West Regional before bowing out.

Andrew Wall scored Sereno’s only goal Sunday as Slammers FC from Southern California beat the Golden Eagles 5-1 in Albuquerque.

Sereno, which had won the region U15 title the year before, was the last team from Arizona with a chance to advance to the U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships.

Wall scored his goal a minute into the game. John McBean tied the game at the 13 minute mark with the first of three goals.

The teams entered the second half tied 1-1. Cameron Waymire gave Slammers the lead 46 minutes into the second half.  McBean added another goal five minutes later.
