Seton Catholic ended Arcadia’s perfect season Friday night and toppled the top-ranked Titans 2-1 at Seton.

“We got out-played and out-hustled by a more hungry Seton team,” said Arcadia head coach Daniel Polan. “We didn’t have any energy and we were flat pretty much the whole game.”

The Titans were coming off an emotional 3-1 overtime win over defending state champion Notre Dame. Polan also noted that the absence of central midfielder Chandler Broderick took a blow on the team’s performance.

“Losing to Seton is tough, but it’s not the end of our season,” said Polan. “We just didn’t bring our A game, and we know that every team we play against is going to give us their best shot.”
