Ana Huff struck out 14, and Elizabeth Henson drove in the winning run as the Bruins topped the Devils 6-5 Saturday night to win the Arcadia Little League major division softball title.
 Henson had three hits and capped a three-run rally in the fifth as the Bruins came from behind to win at Ingleside Middle School in Phoenix.
The Devils had built an early 3-1 lead.
Huff gave up two hits and walked five.
Leadoff hitter Julia Herandez went 3-for-3 for the Bruins. Sierra Folkert, Lauren Krumholz, Mara Georgeff and Kelly Rice each had a hit in the championship game.
The Bruins’ roster included Raven Capps, Abby Diazcandena, Gabby Gudoin and Ciara Traynor. |
